where's the big guy when you need him?  I know there's little to no protection on his end of the lineup (especially when Big Sal gets the nod, even though he might be the handsomest man in the major leagues), but i don't think this was the start that anyone expected.  it especially hurts when jimmy thome is crushing the ball in chicago.  theres no one in the world who would take even a great year of thome over the next ten-twelve years of howard, but howard has continued to drop in blooping and line drive singles, when even chase has finally responded with a couple of huge games.  clearly this team will only win games with huge amounts of run support, and a lot of those runs are expected to come from howard's bat.  i love ryan howard, but i love home runs and phillies wins even more.  pick it up, ryan.
