Around SBN: Phillies trade for OF Matt Stairs Bar-right-arrows

IF there's a new manager...

Who should it be ? The obvious heir apparent is Jimmy Williams, but i'm really not sure about him after he got canned in Houston a few years ago. Ken Machas' out there, as is Dusty Baker, but the common theme with all these guys tends to be that they failed miserably in their last job, with the exception of Macha. Say that the Phillies did get rid of Charlie, who would YOU hire to take his place ?

P. Baker on D. Baker
Dusty Baker?  Seriously, Cole Hamels and Brett Myers should get a restraining order against Dusty, keeping him 500 yards away from them and thus their pitching arms at all times.

Re: P. Baker on D. Baker
Even the baseball insiders have to realize that Dusty was riding on Bonds' coattail all those years in SF.

In another diary, dajafi suggested Davey Johnson. Not only would this be a great move for the Phils, but can you imagine how huge the games against the Mets would become?
