Harry Kalas: intelligble or not?

I like the play-by-play that Harry Kalas provides on radio broadcasts, but I find that his voice gets lost in the crowd noise when he is calling an exciting play. I listen on XM because I am in south Florida. Do others find this to be a problem? Do you listen on AM radio or XM?

Harry Kalas has sounded much better during the WS games on XM, so kudos to whomever for tweaking things.
