According to a text alert I just received on my phone from 950 AM in Philadelphia, Chase Utley will have hip surgery next week.  According to the alert the recovery could take up to six months to completely rehab.  Quick math indicates that six months is basically the end of may.

So that debate or whether or not Chase Utley had some hip issues seems to have been resolved...seems that he did.
