Game Nine: Kendrick vs. Pelfrey
A classic matchup of highly touted underachiever versus well-hyped disappointment... joined in progress. Through two innings, it's tied, and Kendrick has walked six Mets without damage, leaving the bases loaded twice. He's over 50 pitches already, though.
Jimmy Rollins isn't in the lineup tonight, ending his streak of 230 consecutive starts.

can't win 'em all...
Kendrick surrendered three hits and the Phils have made two errors and counting in the third inning--that's three on the night and god knows how many on the season. They're trailing 3-1 with one out and the bases loaded in the third.

Now 3 errors but Kendrick is pitching like a double A pitcher. I am not in favor of pushing the panic button too early but Charlie is really making a mistake keeping him in.

well, he's gone now
Meanwhile, another error and it's 6-1 with more probably on the way. Chad Durbin in to take one for the team.

Eric Bruntlett
Any reason why we should keep him on the Major League roster?

A Positive
Durbin stopped the bleeding, I'm impressed for now.

Bruntlett was awful and so was Kendrick. I have more faith in Adam Eaton.
For Who? My teammates.
For What? To Win.
How Much? Where do I sign?

I am starting to get the feeling that Kendrick's days on the major league club are limited. It was fun while it lasted.
