Game 38: Moyer vs. Lincecum

Philadelphia @ San Francisco

Five days after his victorious face-off with Diamondbacks young gun Max Scherzer, the fates again have conspired to pit Jamie Moyer against a pitcher half his age whose offspeed stuff comes in faster than Moyer's heat: Giants ace Tim Lincecum.

Also of interest: today's game will not be televised, calling into some question whether or not it's really happening. Enjoy!

I almost wish this team would wait to score all of its runs until the 7th or 8th innings so that we don’t have to continually put up with our starting pitchers coughing up leads as soon as we get them.

Wow. I guess we’re all in agreement that this game didn’t actually happen.

The Game

Wife and I flew to San Fransicko to see Fri ansd Sat games. Friday was a thriller but the pisser was how flat footed our boys played yesterday. I knew it was over by the second inning. Thought of staying for todays game but couldn’t justify the expense. Stadium is nothing to write home about and the Friday night game was a cold/ windy experience. Glad to be home in the desert. Anyway I’ll see you online for todays game. Toodles.
