Dbacks take the lead on a single up the middle off of Bruntlett’s glove. Looked like he had no shot and then looked like he pulled up on it.

eaton with a good snag to get a rundown. Coste has to throw that and try to get the 3rd out.

I couldn’t see the whole field, but it looked like Coste was worried that Eaton wouldn’t cover the plate there if he through it to 2nd.

Yeah, but if he thought he had a play (and nobody but the people at the stadium know) I think he has to try to make it and not worry about the guy coming down the line.

Fancy glovework, boys.
NB those without the video, Ryan Howard is sittin’ this one out, at least until Randy Johnson leaves the game.

Phils tend to do well with him for some inexplicable reason. Players do strange things, like Feliz walking.

My understanding was that the border states are less anti-immigrant than other places just because you don’t have the same fear of the unknown, and that the really crazy stuff comes from the interior where nobody had ever seen a Mexican before. But I could be wrong.

Harry and Wheels now rhapsodizing about Chase. “Betcha they could put Chase behind the plate and he’d do a good job.” Reminiscent of SNL skit with Bears fans some years ago: “Is Ditka drivin?” I don’t disagree, just noteworthy is all.
