I always knew this kid was a baller and i think he was a great pickup for the phils. I know i was just ragging on the phillies draft but i was talking about how they should take proven college talent instead of HS kids.

Anways, i went to HS with susdorf and knew he could rake. I have been watching him play the past 3 years in college and now watching him in the supers. I am pretty excited to get this kid signed and get him going. He is having a crazy super regional against ASU and just hit a huge bomb that inspired this post. just thought i would share my excitement. im pretty sure you all will enjoy him someday soon also.

ASU vs. Fresno

I attended all three games of the ASU/Fresno State series here in Tempe, AZ. In no way would I characterize Susdorf’s series as “crazy” if you mean “crazy good”. He had a few hits off the handle that turned into a triple and double because the outfield was playing him the other way. He also hit a long homer in the third game that did serve as the GW run. Not down on the guy, just trying to characterize his series, having seen every at bat of his. As we well know, watching the games in person makes me smarter;)

He reminds me of a Von Hayes type. Lean, athletic body that can do a little of everything. I hope he does become a great Philly. He plays with a lot of passion.
