MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!

This awful, miserable set of games in Los Angeles finally concludes tonight as the Phillies try to hold off a sweep after losing the last two games following late-inning bullpen meltdowns and dominance by players (Kent, Garciaparra) who saw their best days early this decade (or earlier).

The sharp-of-late Brett Myers takes the mound against Hiroki Kuroda. I don't really know what else to say here. If it takes Snake Plissken to get us out of this mess, that's fine too.

Odds that Kuroda does what new pitchers do against the Phillies? Pretty damn good I would say.

Myers is looking absolutely fantastic. If he starts pitching the way he did in 2005-2006, that’s pretty tremendous.

4 game sweep by those hot hitting Dodgers. 2 Hits for our boys tonight in yet another half assed performance, and Jim-Me wonders why the Phans boo? Pathetic.

Maybe Mayor Nutter,Governor Rendell and the Philadelphia Police

should carefully watch the Philles-Dodgers series at Citizens Bank Park. Should the Phils get swept again by L.A., then I predict the Eagles would go 2-14, the Flyers will have the worst record in the NHL and Elton Brand will be a big bust with the 76ers as they will miss the postseason, not coming close to the 8 spot. Maybe Governor Rendell and Mayor Nutter should punch Manny Ramirez in the face if the Dodgers do this again to the Fightin’s again this weekend.
