Phillies Breakfast Links, October 2, 2009: Rocktober! Yuks, Setting the Rotation
Phillies’ Romero Probably Out for the Playoffs
Well that stinks, for everyone except Sergio Escalona.
Lee ready after final NLDS tuneup
I hope he was just "experimentin'" because he didn't look so hot.
Phillies president Montgomery named chairman of Sports Congress
Will other team presidents yell "YOU LIE!" at him while he's giving an address?
Can Penn State learn anything from the Phillies?
OH GOD STOP IT THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND PENN STATE FOOTBALL!!
Pedro Martinez getting left off the Phillies' postseason roster?
Get this guy a "Jump to Conclusions" mat.
Phils or Yanks? NJ Gov. Candidates May Pledge Allegiance
I'm a New Jerseyan so this will be a good tie breaker for me; which scumbag prefers the Phillies? He shall get my vote.
Carrasco roughed up in Tribe loss
Ugh, I feel for him but this has just been brutal for Carlos Carrasco.
Diaz's indecision leads to final out
After how much Matt Diaz killed the Phillies this year, all I can say is: BAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!
Rockies are this season's more dangerous wild card team

That Cleveland article makes it sound like the Phillies sold Cleveland a damaged bag of goods, when they knew what they were getting all along. Knapp may have been misdiagnosed but they knew they were getting an injured pitcher in the deal. They knew Donald’s medical history and Carrasco’s record was there for everyone to see. Sorry if Cleveland fans can’t see this for the salary dump that it was, but some of these players may actually turn out to be of some value to them (unlike the crap the Phillies got back in the Abreu “trade”).
Rocktober
BTW, I’d love to get a petition to stop anyone from printing, mentioning or referring to above term. It’s quite frankly the most revolting side effect to come out of Colorado’s “little engine that could” 2007 wonder season.
you vomitous cur. If you got paid for this, it was too much.
So, what did we learn?
The season is a long grind and that you should not dwell on one loss.
Have patience in players for they will reward you in the end with hard work.
Penn State and the Phillies have genuine class acts leading them.
