The Indifference of Heaven: Marlins 7, Phillies 2

Tedious and dull.  Someone remind these guys that they might want homefield advantage for at least one round in the playoffs.

Two runs for the Phillies on a Ryan Howard two run blast into the visiting bullpen in the first inning.  Otherwise, just lackadaisical stuff.

The pitching for the Phillies was uniformly sub-mediocre, with starting pitcher Joe Blanton allowing five runs and nine hits over six innings.  Four hits from Cameron Maybin, and three RBI for Jorge Cantu.

Playoffs, please?
