I don’t even think it’s a good idea. You’re the leadoff man: it’s your job to see some pitches, to start working the pitch count, and hopefully to get on base. A one pitch out is completely counterproductive.

Well, that’s Boulder… which is about an hour NE of here.
And the place is certainly hippie heaven, up to and including whoever designed the roads in that f’n city. I went there for an Opeth concert, and I think I hate that general area of town just because the roads are more ridiculous than Washington DC….
