Respect

Now that the horriable, Dodger loving, TBS coverage is behind us and the Phil's have taken game 1, the Phillies are finally getting some respect from the sports coverage teams. It seemed to me around the 7th even Timmy Mac started to give some love to the Phightn's. ESPN is just gushing about Lee and Chase this morning and barely mention the Stinkees. I can't wait to get the NY post and see all the BS and excuses for the loss. Did anyone notice or was it just me, the stadium start to empty after Raaauuulll scored 2 in the 8th? Never happen at the Bank even if we were down by 10 you can bet the Bank will be packed and Rock'in. If this holds up to Jimmy's prediction, Obama should appoint J-Rol as Head Soothsayer / Adviser to the Chief.      Phil's in Phive!!!!!

That’s who wrote the “Frillies” piece in the NY Post. Maybe a little too early to email him (I’m leaning that way), maybe not… You all have to decide that for yourselves… Just throwing it out there.

maybe just ignore them?

My preferred approach. If you write to them, it means you read them. And they won.

Touche. Good point.

Kind of funny though, regarding all the talk about Philly and its people in that article… Say what you will about Philadelphians, but there would NEVER be empty seats in CBP in the 8th inning of a World Series game.

We should all write to him and just insult his appearance. Don’t mention the article at all.

I’m about 99% certain.

Nobody reads the NY Post. Nor does the typical yankees fan even know which Phillie that was.

Non-issue, neither that guy or his faceless baby are worth your time.

I knew who it was even with the TV on mute.

We don’t like to watch our team lose. Is that so horrible? I probably wouldn’t have left in case the Yankees had a comeback win, but that was highly unlikely. I understand where you’re coming from, but I also have to back up my fellow Yankees fans. Good Luck. :^)
