All quiet on the Yankee front

Im not a troll. I just like to read the opponents blogs now and then just to see what they're saying.  I never will comment. Anyway i went to the Yankees blog today and i swear i could hear crickets churping from my speakers. Not one of those smug yankee fans has anything to say.  There were a couple that think they are going to win just because Pedro is pitching tonight.  They think because he is old that they are going to hit the daylights out of him.  I have a huge feeling that Pedro will shut them up just like Cliff did last night.  If we can win tonight, im predicting a sweep. Hamels will pitch game 3 and i have a hunch that Charley will play Lee in game 4 just to put them out of their misery.  Im making some bold predictions here but after seeing the faces on the fans and yankees players last night, i noticed the ego got knocked right out of them.  You could tell that they knew they have no chance.  2-0 tonight! GO PHILLIES!!!

Still have to win three more games, and the Yankees are really good. This is far from over. Although a win tonight would be really, really good for the Phils.

While it’s nice to have all the Yankee fans or phillie haters to disappear for a day, the Yanks did win over 100 games, many of those 2,3, or even 4 in a row. Don’t count them out after one, even if their fans do.

Yeah but think about how easily the phillies could have won over 100. All those blown saves by lidge=over 100. Not to mention they had CC all year. We just got Lee halfway through the year. He definently would have won more games than Moyer. The win total doesnt concern me too much. Look at the dodgers.

yea thats true, but i’m sure yanks fans could be saying the same thing about a few games in may, june or july that they let get away. oh well. let’s just win the next 3 and put them out of their misery. Go Phils.

All was quiet at the game as well. Between the cold, rain and dominance of Lee, there was very little noise emanating from that stadium. And by the time they did score a run in the 9th, half the seats were empty.

I’ll enjoy it for a night. One thing’s for sure, they’re gonna be loud this evening. Even if Pedro pitches well, they are going to be screaming cat-calls at him all night.

interesting

I never saw a team that won 93 games and only had one pitcher in double digits in victories Phillies need to get over game two and come back home. This can’t go back to New York

grammer geeks you make me sick

Four starters on the Phillies had 10 or more victories over the 2009 season.

Happ 12
Moyer 12
Blanton 12
Hamels 10

Which is 1 more than the yankee’s had.

Well that backfired on you.

The only reason that PA was quiet was because A LOT of us went to the game, and A LOT of us were too tired to use the computer and blog. Good luck Phillies. Not! :^)
