Make "High Hopes" the 7th inning stretch song for the rest of 2009?
Thoughts?

Great idea.
"In a couple of weeks or a month, I'll be excited about this team," Dawkins said. "I've got to get used to saying that -- I'm a Bronco." Then he paused. "I'll tell you one thing -- I'll always be an Eagle."
I like the idea. I am sure they will name something after him at CBP as well like they did Ashburn Alley.
Devil's advocate
Folks, I liked Harry and all, but…
Hearing “High Hopes” that many times would make me want to kill things. Especially multi-cellular things with spines, hair, that give birth to live young, and which suckle at breasts. I’d want to climb clock towers so I could look for little billy goats.
Nice for a few games, sure. Nice all the time for a whole freaking year? No. Pretty much the opposite of nice. Pretty much float-over-the-bed, 360 degree head-rotating, projectile vomiting, and crucifix…hiding awful.
In fact, it might be enough to push me over the edge, though admittedly that isn’t too far to go to begin with.
Did I say yet that I think it’s an awful idea? How about a nice bronze statue instead?

After wins
The song is a victory song. How nice would it be if after each win the song is played? I know I would always stay after and sing
"Can you feel that, that thing that's beatin' in your doggone chest right now, man? Can you feel that? Can you feel what's about to happen on this field, man?"
Brian Dawkins... Eagle for Life
Better idea than mine. The song is too pokily paced to go anywhere else. Was played tonight during 7th inning stretch, dunno if this is just this homestand or for the rest of the year.
