I had a feeling after that short outing, but I am surprised after 2 decent starts prior. What was Charlie waiting for by even letting him start those 2 times then?
For Who? My teammates.
For What? To Win.
How Much? Where do I sign?

My read on it is that it had more to do with the coaching staff’s frustration at what’s been reported as Park’s inability to maintain his composure on the mound, rather than his pitching performance as such.
Needless to say, Park hasn’t done very well this year, but he hasn’t been any worse than Moyer or Blanton. In fact, lately, he’s been better. But I think he’s seen as setting a bad tone. At least, that’s how I read the tea leaves of the comments Manuel & co. have made to the press.

Park’s comments were revealing too. What the Inquirer had him saying was, in effect—"I was aggressive in those two starts like they told me to be, and started the same way, but the Nats hit me real hard. So I went to the breaking ball, but was wild.
Logically, neither worked. Try telling your boss: What you told me to do to be successful wasn’t working, so I tried doing things my way, and that didn’t work either.

I think the past tense of Tweet is “Twate” — hence: Thus Twate Zolethustra. But I digress.
In other news, it just doesn’t seem a dollar buys as much as it used to.
