For Phillies, hurdles to a Peavy deal | Philadelphia Inquirer
"That new Philadelphia park might be the worst in baseball," [Peavy] said. "Look at Shane Victorino. I love Vic to death. He's a great baseball player. He's got 11 or 12 homers [already]. He's not a 20-homer guy."
Don't hold your breath on this guy coming to Philly.

I think I would have been surprised about the move back in April. But he's been so good this season that the move didn't really shock me once it was made.

Shane is not a 20 homer guy? Right, cause he has 4 so far. And he has hit 3 of them on the road. Sheesh.
For Who? My teammates.
For What? To Win.
How Much? Where do I sign?
Yeah…I have caught his show a few times in the last week and I am taking a lot of pleasure in listening to what sounds like an emasculated Eskin who is now facing the fact that he can’t call the shots and be a bigoted bully anymore.
Never too soon for that joke – i make it often and have ever since i heard the story
"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."
Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.

Caught some of the show again today. It has gotten to the point where Eskin is audibly annoyed with his co-host.
It doesn’t help that Rob Ellis is half retarded.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy (Eskin). He has to suffer with a partner who knows less than most of the callers he berates and he can’t do a thing about it.
Is it mean that I don’t feel sorry for him?
Why would anyone ever feel sorry for Howard Eskin – he makes way too much money being a douchebag and people praise him for it.
Plus he looks like the burger kng and wears those stupid coats…dude can’t have enough bad things happen to him as far as i’m concerned…even with a cohost he’s on the air paying far more than he should be making.
They must have worked hard to find a co host less informed than eskin
