Baseball Prospectus Idol, Week Two Results!

And Matt crushes it.

Kahrl:

Where last week no single contestant received more than 50 percent from voting subscribers, this week we saw an Idol first, as one contestant cleanly eclipsed that mark and then some: Matt Swartz’s "You Can Beat PECOTA Without a Computer Model." That achievement sets the bar high, for himself and for the other remaining seven contestants.

Congratulations to Matt, on to Week Three!

hey Matt

If you make it close to the end of the competition, are they going to do the “hometown visit” episode?

Good article

I’m not into fantasy baseball, or stat-heavy analysis, but that provided great insight. Although, I thought my head was going to explode after reading through all those acronyms in most of the comments.
