Ok, maybe the most amazing stat I have stumbled on…

Giants walks: 226
Opponents walks: 361

The Giant’s opponents have walked 135 MORE times than the Giants. If they had Bonds, then maybe they’d be tied. That is ridiculous.

Going to free baseball in Miami, tied at 3-all. Although with all those empty orange seats in Jimmy Buffet ballpark, I am sure people could get in free at the start.

Brian McCann just hit a three run bomb in the top of the 10th, 6-3 Braves.

I find it fascinating when I see Marlins (or rays) highlights and there are TONS of empty seats close up and people are still sitting in the higher up seats…really…if they move down are they going to move them back up?

in late-era Veterans Stadium, my friends and I made an art form of what we called “seathawking.” We would do it competitively too — if usher bounced you, you were out, closest to the dugout by the last pitch won.

you know…if we lose to Haren..fine. If Lincecum shuts us down, OK.

But losing last night to an 0-5 clown throwing junk and misplaying balls and stranding runners isn’t a good thing to see.

No More Left Coast

It’s past my bedtime, and we’re losing in California again.

Oh well, if you win a bajillion games out of a bajillion and two, I guess you’re going to collectively slump at one point. Better now than Rocktober.

Good night all.

Is it terrible that I already feel like we lost? Like our offense has burned out?

yeah but its a sad thing to lose back to back for the first time in forever. I liked being called the best and hottest team in baseball. Can’t we stay hot for the rest of the year, take the WS and be in a funk in the beginning of next season?

Cliff Lee

Nice interview on MLBTV with Hazel Day(?) – Lee still feeling his way in the situation, half of the time he calls the Phillies “they” and half it’s “we.” Bottom line: throw strikes and give the team a chance to win every time he goes out there. Good philosophy.
