Predicting Pedro: What's He Going to Do Tonight?
Pedro Martinez makes his Phillies debut tonight against the Cubs. The big question is which Pedro is going to show up? The Pedro that put up similar numbers to Jamie Moyer in the minors? Or the Pedro who pitched horribly for the Mets last year? Or the Pedro who pitched much better for the Mets just a few years ago?
Here, we're not concerned with how he's going to do the rest of the year - just with how he does tonight against the second place Cubs.
So respond to this post with the following:
IP - innings pitched
ER - earned runs allowed
R - runs allowed
K - strikeouts
BB - walks
HR - home runs given up
P - pitches
My guesses are in the first comment below.

IP 5.1
ER 2, R 2
6 K
2 BB
98 Pitches
Also, I would predict 7 hits.
All in all, it is sloppy but he gets the job done.
Predicting Pedro
IP – 5
ER – 3
R – 3
K – 7
BB – 3
HR – 1
Pitches – 90
Pedro's gonna get rocked
The only thing he’s got going for him is that major league teams haven’t seen him in nearly a year. He’s still topping out at 91 and his fastball is still extremely hittable, which the cubs will devour.
4 IP

Takes a Big Loss, Jamie Moyer cries and the phillies are 4 and 9 against SF, Rockies, Marlins and Cubs, all contenders… Hamels goes on DL with tendinitis, Moyer returns to rotation and pitches worse than before, Amaro realizes cliff lee is the only pitcher that can win anymore and orders him to be pitched every 3 days.

Not sure what the point of this was. Looking to rile up Phillies fans or just have some fun by citing false statistics and predicting ridiculous scenarios.
