Wags, the Dog
A couple days back, Mets reliever Billy Wagner reiterated that he wouldn't waive his no-trade clause to rejoin the Phillies were they to claim him on waivers because "they expect too much." It turned out that the Red Sox put in a claim, and the teams have until 1pm Tuesday afternoon to work out a deal.
Later that night, during the Mets' 4-2 win over the Phillies, the SNY broadcasters mentioned that Wagner hopes to play with the Washington Nationals next year because it's close to his Virginia home.
I guess when you've won as many championships as The Alpaca Kid has in his storied career, it gets old... oh, wait a minute. The furthest Wagner ever got in the postseason was one NLCS with the Mets in 2006. He pitched in three games in that series, losing one and posting a 16.88 ERA.

And the loss was because he gave up a 9th-inning homer to So Taguchi!

I think Wagner just doesn’t like baseball.

Wagner
I hope I never see that backstabbing piece of crap in a Phills uniform again. Everytime he leaves a team he says the team sucks but every team that he was on sucks because he was on that team. I think he is just a bad influence on teams and I hope he goes to the American League and I never have to see him again. I would take Lidge over Wagner anyday just because he fits in on a team aspect. He fits in well with the Mets because they are all about themselves and not about the team aspect. That is why the Phills will be World Champs 2 years in a row And The Mets Will Suck Again With There High Priced Talent That They Bring In.
