Phils
Cliff Lee getting the job done. Keep it up Phils. Just need a few runs and Lee will close it out. Look at his stats since coming over to the Phils. An era of 0.68. He's nasty and nobody can touch his best pitches. Cliff should be second half mvp for baseball and the Phillies. Ryan Howard too, but mostly Lee. A great pickup this past trade deadline. Roy halladay who. Who's he anyway.

not a direct quote but his gist, from last night recap, I think, was, Lee a lock tonight and Phils should win, which I think he re-edited during the game tonight.

howard
howard was robbed of mvp last year .. what a joke that was .. lead the league in hrs and rbis should be automatic mvp .. thas some bs .. but howard has a chance again this year .. lee has been good .. but i would still take halladay over him .. asuming it was for the same players .. lee came cheaper so i did prefer him .. i love taylor and didnt want him to get traded .. he is next years replacemeent for victorino

It’s almost beautiful in a way. It’s so perfectly wrong it’s almost to be admired.

"Nobody can touch his best pitches"
Ya think, I thought the Braves did a pretty good job at it last night……

He wasn’t throwing his best pitches that night. He was throwing meatballs into the middle of the plate. Anyone—even Tim Lincecum—is going to get hammered living over the plate.
