Prospects everywhere consider themselves failures for underperforming against top pitcher in baseball. Film at 11.

Shoulda traded him for George Sherril.

Kid’s got an amusing, though not unpleasant, drawl.

David Murphy did say he “laced one into the outfield” (click on “Spring Training Report: First Live Batting Session”).

It might just be the similarly-shaped nose, but am I the only one who thinks Brown resembles Ryan Howard (in a completely non-racist kinda way)?

I do but with a touch of Michael Clark Duncan

Seems like a quiet, thoughtful kid. I think there’s a little bit of Chase Utley in his personality, too.

If we can't hit Halladay,

How are we gonna hit the best that MLB has to offer?

Wow

I know this really means nothing in the grand scheme of the season, but you typically read that a pitcher needs some time to adjust and get themselves straight. Then again, what else are the reporters supposed to write about? With that being said, it’s nice to see that every was impressed with him. Halladay is a true beast and I really still cannot believe that we have him. I know we lost Clifford, but really the city should be going nuts. This guy is the best in the game.
