Good Stuff
Now provide me something to read, I find the lack of literary material of late disturbing. Congratz to both you two.

Thank God it’s the 21st century. In the old days, we’d all have to take turns writing our articles on the old dial up desktop. Now, at least, we can all sit around on our individual laptops.

Careful…putting “sy” after “tool” might now get you banned. Congrats guys! This is good stuff. And taco, now that you’re promoted, you really need to get a picture for your name. May I suggest:

Associate
is what Wal-Mart calls its greeters. I think this is just a ploy to keep TP and WL from getting a gold-plated health plan. You guys should form a collective bargaining unit and Curt Flood those bastards. I wonder if Marvin Miller is available.

Philadelphia Phillies BLOG-fia family gaining strength
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The TGP (The Good Phight) crime family is quietly building its numbers in a move to assume control of the SB Nation baseball blogging underworld. In the past few years, under the leadership of reputed boss WholeCamels, underboss Dajafi, Consigliere David Cohen, and the brutal enforcer Jonk, the TGP family has amassed a strong following of several hundred loyal associates. TGP has enjoyed significant territorial growth into New Jersey, raising fears of a war with the Two Families of New York who also control large portions of the state’s internet traffic. There have also been reports that former TGP caporegime and statistical expert, Matt Swartz, has accepted a high profile position writing for the website baseballprospectus.com, which he has been operating as a front for the TGP syndicate.
Meanwhile, in the past year, the TGP organization has inducted at least three new “made” members into the family. An FBI informant has suggested that one of these new wiseguys, PhillyFriar, has already ascended to the position of caporegime for his deep, insider knowledge of the Phillies’ farm system. Newest members Taco Pal and Wet Luzinski, longtime associates who were significant forces as TGP commenters during the Phillies’ 2008 World Series victory, bring depth to an already powerful family. Mr. Luzinski’s excellent sense of humor and Mr. Pal’s gift for deconstructing personnel decisions bode well for the future of the family as it plans its move for baseball blogging supremacy. The rival New York, Florida, Atlanta, and Washington families have expressed concern with these developments.

I hope he doesn’t think Capo Luzinski’s here to amuse us, but I think he’s saying you’re the one responsible for disposing of the bodies

What makes this completely awesome is that I’ve spent all of my free time in the past week watching an entire season of the Sopranos… so you’re speaking my language right now!
Well done, FM, well done.
FM primed for career year?
This post is like winning Player of the Week in early April: sure it’s awesome, but it also raises expectations sky-high.
Aw shucks...
Now I feel like one of those idiots on Sunday night who were unprepared to give an acceptance speech even though there were only four other people on the planet who might actually be called to get up in front of a nationwide TV audience. Then Mo’Nique- yes, Mo’Nique! – showed everybody how it’s supposed to be done. So let me begin by saying that I too want to thank Miss Hattie McDaniel for enduring all that she had to so that I would not have to.
Oh, and that if you consider this ascension, as I do, a positive thing, perhaps postive results really do start with having a positive attitude. Oh and thank you sweet sweet Jeebus.
In all honesty and genuiness, I’m thrilled to be here, aim to serve the blog as nobly as possible, and no, Oprah did not help me write this.
