I for one welcome our new ant blog overlords. Toolboxes all around!

Good Stuff

Now provide me something to read, I find the lack of literary material of late disturbing. Congratz to both you two.

Thank God it’s the 21st century. In the old days, we’d all have to take turns writing our articles on the old dial up desktop. Now, at least, we can all sit around on our individual laptops.

Desktop? In the real old days, we’d’ve been using typewriters and sending snarky letters to some fanzine editor who’d be running off copies from a mimeograph.

It’s nice to see Mr. Positive and Toolsy get promoted

TAKE THE FALL, ACT HURT, GET INDIGNANT

by CoburnsCuddleBuddy on Mar 10, 2010 8:59 AM EST reply actions

Careful…putting “sy” after “tool” might now get you banned. Congrats guys! This is good stuff. And taco, now that you’re promoted, you really need to get a picture for your name. May I suggest:

I am considering a few alternatives, but that is a pretty nice one.

by taco pal on Mar 10, 2010 10:48 AM EST up reply actions

1) is that really wholecamels

2)If so, why the hell is he wearing a Yankees jacket

by Clyde Simmons on Mar 10, 2010 9:02 AM EST reply actions

That is actually wholecamels in the middle.

I see I need to familiarize myself with the Steinbrenner family

Associate

is what Wal-Mart calls its greeters. I think this is just a ploy to keep TP and WL from getting a gold-plated health plan. You guys should form a collective bargaining unit and Curt Flood those bastards. I wonder if Marvin Miller is available.

^this.

oh, damn. First day on the job and I’ve forgotten that I can’t speak freely anymore.

by Wet Luzinski on Mar 10, 2010 9:44 PM EST up reply actions

Thanks all. Whether this will actually motivate me to, like, write more stuff remains to be seen. Perhaps this is like a college professor being awarded tenure: i.e. the work is done and now all I have to do to hold onto the job is not harass any students or anything.

Congrats, fellas. Long time coming.

by Walcott on Mar 10, 2010 12:57 PM EST reply actions

Excellent.

But wait, are you saying Luzinski’s like a clown? Here to amuse you?

by taco pal on Mar 10, 2010 1:59 PM EST up reply actions

I hope he doesn’t think Capo Luzinski’s here to amuse us, but I think he’s saying you’re the one responsible for disposing of the bodies

Luzinski isn’t a Capo yet…he’s a Soldato as of right now.

What makes this completely awesome is that I’ve spent all of my free time in the past week watching an entire season of the Sopranos… so you’re speaking my language right now!

Well done, FM, well done.

by PhillyFriar on Mar 10, 2010 4:18 PM EST up reply actions

FM primed for career year?

This post is like winning Player of the Week in early April: sure it’s awesome, but it also raises expectations sky-high.

by dajafi on Mar 10, 2010 8:49 PM EST up reply actions

You’re saying I can’t live up to expectations? What if this is my MVP season? It’s my turn to get made!

by FuquaManuel on Mar 10, 2010 9:38 PM EST up reply actions

Are you in the best shape of your career?

by phatj on Mar 10, 2010 10:43 PM EST up reply actions

Aw shucks...

Now I feel like one of those idiots on Sunday night who were unprepared to give an acceptance speech even though there were only four other people on the planet who might actually be called to get up in front of a nationwide TV audience. Then Mo’Nique- yes, Mo’Nique! – showed everybody how it’s supposed to be done. So let me begin by saying that I too want to thank Miss Hattie McDaniel for enduring all that she had to so that I would not have to.

Oh, and that if you consider this ascension, as I do, a positive thing, perhaps postive results really do start with having a positive attitude. Oh and thank you sweet sweet Jeebus.

In all honesty and genuiness, I’m thrilled to be here, aim to serve the blog as nobly as possible, and no, Oprah did not help me write this.
