Prizes

I think we should discuss spoils for the victor. I suggest one month’s rent and a security deposit so that we can all move out of our respective mothers’ basements. Maybe we should get a new pocket protector and green visor (http://www.deadprogrammer.com/ow-my-eyes-my-poor-eyes) for the victor.

I think something appropriate might be a 1 year subscription to Baseball Prospectus or perhaps mlb.tv.

Perhaps, for the last-place finisher: http://www.amazon.com/Batting-Cleanup-Conlin-Baseball-America/dp/1566395410 (used, of course, because we don’t want to encourage that sort of thing).

Good luck to all the participants.

It's good

That you put this on the front page. Professional.

Oh crap, I forgot that we had to be professional.

For Who? My teammates.

For What? To Win.

How Much? Where do I sign?

I thought you had to get paid to be professional.

Can any of you recommend a decent fantasy league with like a $10-$30 cost. The last time I played fanatasy bball which was 2 yrs ago, CBSsportsline had these type of leagues. They don’t seem to have it anymore. They have either free leagues or the commissioner thing but that seemed high and I don’t have the time to make my own league. Just figured you’d all have alot of experience with different leagues over the years given your passion for stats. I’ve only played twice so I was wondering if you could recommend something. I can do advanced metrics if the have them. The two times I played was 5 x R Std. Roto. I don’t think I’d like head to head for baseball useless you know something I that I might be missing. That format I’d imagine would be ideal for football.

yeah sure I just thought time was up and I missed it. I just was looking for a pay version because you know people don’t take it seriously in the free leagues after the all star break if they are too far behind….that won’t be the case here, so definitely. Let me know what I gotta do and the league rules and what not. Thanks!
