I just saw this. Apparently it's Phillies blog March Madness...and there are actually 65 Phillies-related blogs...and they have been arranged into a bracket...and so on...

The Good Phight drew a 5-seed in the Lauber region, which in my opinion is a disgrace when you look at some of the blogs with higher seeds.

In any case, to vote:

"Email vote. Each day, vote for one blog in each matchup to thephield [at] gmail.com That’s it. It’s the people’s tournament."

Could be fun. Represent.

I think we can take In Ruben We Trust if we figure out a way to get FuquaManuel to the free throw line when they start to sell out. Plus I like jemagee throughout the tourney to match up against opposition’s strongest offensive player…I see him as a Shane Battier type…

I’m honored to be in the Lauber region, but it’s a tough draw.

Lauber’s definitely the toughest division if you look full depth. The only positives I see are that we don’t have The 700 Level or Crashburn Alley in our bracket. I think Bissinger has a better very top end than Lauber, but Lauber has a lot more potential upsets where the gap between high and low blogs isn’t that great. Our 7-seed could be a 4-seed in most of the other divisions. Daulerio is The 700 Level and everybody else (no insult to Phuture Phillies – I love their work, but they don’t inspire the sheer rabidity of T7L). Salisbury I don’t have a good feel for – that division has literally nobody I read.

Given our 5 seed, do we talk to the Temple guys and get them to support us in sympathy for our similar seeding?

Sharpshooter, ftw!

fwiw, I actually like to think of jemagee as more of a Ron Artest/Matt Barnes/Bruce Bowen type, if you catch my drift.

The kind that makes you worry about ending up flying headfirst in the crowd every time you go for a layup?

And I’m a Magic fan, so I actually like that about Barnes.

Obviously, I think they should name the championship trophy for Conlin.
