17-5

I think the Phils can go 17-5 through April. Winning 115 games throughout the season! This season is going to be a culmination of the last 2 years! Roy and Cole having 20 wins each with Blanton getting 18. We have all the pieces enplaced to set all sorts of records. I see the Mets and the Braves resurging this year but not to the level of Philly. Here is to the third year in the World Series!

Take my word for it. The backseat is way better.

Subtraction... Addition's tricky friend

115 wins minus 58 wins (Halladay, Hamels, Blanton) = 57 wins. I guess you’re thinking Moyer wins 30 and Happ the other 27.

In fairness, the bullpen would account for a number of those wins.

I’m not sure it was support so much as pointing out the obvious (unless the assumption is that Doc’s complete gameness rubs off on every pitcher). Also, Pedro Martinez will come back in August and go 8-0 with a 0.37 ERA and 100Ks, stealing 8 of those wins from Moyer

And, as we all know, the best way to judge how someone pitched is their wins.

To me the Eagles are like that girlfriend that pisses u off, then u hate her, but the next morning you wake up and remember that thing u love so much about her

Very disappointed

that you failed to mention the 98 home runs Howard will hit, the 65 that Werth will hit and the 57 that will be hit by Ibanez.

And failing to mention Utley’s 467 RBIs is simply beyond the pale.

But, really, failing to mention Carlos Ruiz winning both the batting title and Cy Young while simultaneously pitching and catching 38 games is simply unconscionable.

Thank you for the hearty laugh you brough me with the comment on Carlos. Great insight.
