But will he feel that slow of an impact on the helmet? After all, Moyer’s pitches are slow enough that he can toss a pitch, wander over to the dugout, mix up some Metamucil, take a quick nap to regain his strength, and be back to the mound by the time the batter’s swung three times and gotten himself out on a single pitch.

shouldn’t there be like, a 45+ version of this award? you don’t put rookies in the same class as vets, i mean, even golf has a senior circuit

The local ice rink has a 35+ league for hockey. Baseball’s a little less physical, so we could probably make it a 40+ league. 45 might be pushing it a bit.
