Rollins picks perfect moment to bust up slump
Not that I care very much, but you know that for the rest of history, it will be Jimmy Rollins' return to the clubhouse that broke the Phillies out of their slump. He's like a small, not-depraved Pete Rose!

While the caption was good...
…you had to include a photo of three fat people, didn’t you? You couldn’t scour for a few attractive girls in white tanktops who got stuck in the rain? You had to go for the comedy…and we all lost out.
I hope you’re proud of yourself.
What? Did you see the back hair on the first guy? Hence the three lowland gorillas. How you going to do this with a bunch of hotties?

If you look at pictures of a young Pedro, the resemblance is particularly eerie. It is good to see that we may have received something in the Cliff Lee trade (although I would still undo that part of the trade in a heartbeat).
I’m down on Aumont and Gillies right now, but it’s way too early to write them off completely. Gillies has been hurt, and Aumont might just be destined for a bullpen role, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

I understand that (along with the fact that any trade involving prospects can only be judged with the benefit of time to see what the prospects turn out to be)— but I look at how well Cliff Lee is pitching in Seattle… and I can’t help wanting him back.
