#phillies sign willy taveras. doesnt sound like a way to solve offensive woes to me

Obviously it's not supposed to solve any offensive woes. I don't know about this, though. Taveras has been pretty terrible, but maybe he's still better than Gload?

But with a whopping 18 or 19 swipes for the team, we could use alittle more motor on the basepaths. Cause it’s like we went all Rip Van Wrinkle over the winter when Juan Pierre has more steals than our entire team does two months ino the season. Hopefull Traveras still has some scoot

exactly. I would much rather have taveras come in to pinch-run for ibanez in the bottom of the 9th than a guy with the last name “Gload”. That just sounds slow
