Everybody Hits! Phillies 12, Pirates 4
Whoohoo!
And sometimes everything just goes right. Every starter got a hit, many multiple. The good Kyle Kendrick showed up. And the Phillies won 12-4 . . . in Pittsburgh no less.

fangraphs
just an idle thought, but I wonder what a “best fit” fangraph would look like for each of the MLB teams.
Nah… Only the away ones— the line should rise to the top when they are at home instead of cliff diving!

I think he means how teams tend to win or lose.
Example our graphs and the Yankees will look like graphs when a team puts up big numbers- clobbering you opponent, whereas the Mets since they are small balling it this year have won alot closely contested games which graphed probably looks alot more like a cardiogram.
WL – that’s a really cool idea. I wonder if anyone at fangraphs has thought to do something like this. You should email them.

After the article tittle.....
Does any one know what happened to the everybody hits, wahoo guy? You could hear him at the Vet all the time. It is one of my memoreis of the place. I know he could not afford/get those seats at CBP but did he get others, stop going, etc.?
Philly born and raised with plenty of Orange in my blood!
Great Birthday
Now I am 30 glad the Phillies gave me a ass whipping as a present and I think Victorino only ground once right ? That plus everybody hitting is great, did Francisco get a hit?
I wasn't even a year old but I stayed up to be outside the Vet with my Dad and Mom when the Phillies won the World Series 1980.
Looks like he did.

Only one groundout for Victorino on the day— and as requested by you, not to second— he grounded out to the pitcher.

Great a grounder not to second. I was a good B-Day hopefully they follow it up today. I didn’t see highlights yet a homerun for Ben.

Yes…. He decided to join the backups with homers club… I think every member of the active roster not named Ransom has homered.

As for the followup, I hope so too— apparently the Phillies managed one run in two innings and change of relief by this pitcher the last time they saw him. Let’s hope hitting is contagious and that last night gave them momentum.
