Yes I really want to see this again. You get the gist.

Also, if this doesn’t lock up the Cy Young for Doc, then the award is a travesty.

Anyone know the magic number to lock up home-field throughout postseason? It has to be just like 2 or 3 though or do we pretty much gotta win out the last 5? Anyway go phils!! bring home another…I feel bad for those phillie fans before us that never got to enjoy a championship except that one in ’80 and here we are with a GREAT chance for a 2nd in 3 years….
It’s already been accomplished.. The Phillies have clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Now that's what I call high quality H2O!
Next time your found, with your chin on the
ground
There a lot to be learned, so look around
Just what makes that little old ant
Think he’ll move that rubber tree plant
Anyone knows an ant, can’t
Move a rubber tree plant
But he’s got high hopes, he’s got high hopes
He’s got high apple pie, in the sky hopes!!!!!!!!

That's great Bobby, but we don't have Dance Dance Revolution, so... you're dumb.
Some may disagree, but for me, credit where due: T-Mac did a nice job wrapping up the show after the last pitch. I believe there’s a term for this in broadcasting, which escapes me, for being able to talk continuously to fill a long stretch of time. He did it well (with the exception when he incorrectly said we had just clinched the #1 seed).
Hmm, really? Is that because of tiebreakers? If the Giants win tonight we’ll only be 5 up on them with 5 to go.
Tiebreakers, yeah. According to Matt Gelb.
Pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will.
by FuquaManuel on Sep 27, 2010 10:14 PM EDT up reply actions
If I remember my tiebreaker logic it goes from head-to-head (which I believe was tied 3-3) and then follows an NFL pattern of intradivision, then intraleague, games, followed by best second half record. Whew. Somebody must have figured out that on one of those tiebreakers the Phillies have guaranteed victory.
by phillyinportland on Sep 28, 2010 1:32 AM EDT up reply actions
Not sure if we have the tiebreaker yet
First tiebreaker is head to head. We have that over San Diego, but I think we’re 3-3 vs San Francsco.
Second tiebreaker is NL record. Not sure if we have that by 5 games.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
From mlb.com
The Phillies clinched their fourth consecutive National League East championship Monday night with an 8-0 victory over the Nationals at Nationals Park. They also clinched the league’s best record because they won their 94th game and win tiebreakers against the Padres and Giants.

There are exactly eight days between today and Game 1, so it’s impossible for him to pitch again without either that game or Game 1 being on 3 days rest. (Unless Charlie thinks out of the box and starts someone else in Game 1.)

Personally I see that rather than totally skipping him. Roy seems to like a regular pitching schedule.
"We are the borg. Resistance is futile."
I guess the question is do you do:
3 days rest, short game, 4 days rest, Game 1 DS
or
4 days rest, short game, 3 days rest, Game 1 DS
I would take the first.

Roy has gone on short rest. He deserves to be Game 1 starter. I’ll still go with Roy doing a maybe 3 inning (think spring training outting) and starting Game 1. Just my opinion.
"We are the borg. Resistance is futile."
Why not just have him throw in the pen in a totally controlled environment?
