Interesting. I never really took the early rumors of this to heart, but this could shake up the organization a little bit. And with the reports that Epstein and Hoyer are not sold on replacing Cubs manager Mike Quade, perhaps this gives Ryne Sandberg (whom I have a managerial man-crush on) the chance to see time on the big league coaching staff. But now I might regret buying that #22 jersey from the ballpark store. Rats.
