He's about to be 36 and he had a crappy year last year (.216/.295/.327), but he has a career line of .273/.338/.415 and has hit for a .280/.347/.463 clip against lefties. I'd say there's a decent chance he'd produce a higher WAR than Exxon Valdez over a full season. Oh, and he's also kind of on the heavy side, so his last name was like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Cool.
