Coining a new word

mas•tur•boo•ing  n.  The act of booing for the sole purpose of pleasing oneself and making oneself heard.  When directed at players which the masturbooer supports, it is likely to have the unintended consequences of a) putting additional pressure on the object of the masturbooing and thereby further worsening performance, and b) providing "aid and comfort to the enemy" (the term is not used to describe booing for perceived lack of effort, or "hustle").  Urban legends regarding masturbooing causing blindness are likely apocryphal, however displays of boorish behavior such as this have been shown to limit the perpetrator’s mating opportunities.  Through natural selection it is expected that this aberrant behavior will eventually become extinct.
