Most stories on Rollins have bemoaned his lack of RBIs. I have seen no stories on Rollins' new found appreciation for the BB over the last 2 years. In 2010 he walked over 10% of the time, shame that BABIP god killed any OBP increase. This year, he is walking at a 13% rate and despite a still a below average career BABIP his OBP has spiked. He is still 60 ABs away from the walk rate stabilizing, but I see a trend here.
Does anyone know if Jimmy changed his approach to draw more walks, and if so, what he has done?
