Congrats to him. I’ll never forget the ring ceremony and seeing him tear up as he handed out ring after ring. Good baseball man and seems like a genuinely good guy, too.

What kind of plane is it? Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big ol' Tylenol.

My enduring memory of Gillick has been his shout-out to Ed Wade IMMEDIATELY upon receiving the World Series trophy in the clubhouse back in ’08. Very CLASSY move and an (accurate) acknowledgment of the role his predecessor played in assembling that roster.
