Sorry about the single paragraph format, I didn't intend for it to be like that. Need some practice
It took the Astros 44 years to get to the Series, the Oilers-Texans are OVERDUE to get to the playoffs, much less the big big dance...Go Texans!!!!!

He’s okay but not great. I think you should be happier with the Pence trade. Singleton and Cosart are good prospects.
Hope you're right
Wade has traded our 3 most marketable position players (Keppinger, Pence & Bourne) in the last 10 days and hasn’t received one ML ready prospect in return. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it is disappointing in the short term. He just traded Bourne to ATL for 4 prospects this AM, and he did not receive any of their top 4 pitching prospects in return. The Braves made it known they wanted Bourne weeks ago, and Wade was not able to parlay that leverage into a good trade for the Astros. I don’t think he’s the right guy for the job of ML GM.

For the record, I think Singleton has superstar potential, but, at the least, I expect he’ll be a solid Major Leaguer. Cosart’s a crap shoot, but his ceiling is as high as any pitcher in the minors right now. I personally think Wade made out pretty well in the Pence trade. He’s good at building a minor league organization, so I think you’ll appreciate him more in a few years. In many ways he reminds me of Drayton Moore. Good at the Prospects, not great at handling the affairs of the Bg Club.
He’s also excellent at locking up existing major league players. While the work he did with player development was crucial for the Phillies’ recent success, perhaps even more crucial were the contracts he got Rollins and Utley to sign. The Burrell and Abreu deals were his worst extensions, and neither one of them was that bad.
Not so good at free agent deals, especially with relief pitchers.
