Also worth mentioning in view of Worley's falling short of the Phillies' all-time record for consecutive starts won by the team, he did tie the MLB all-time rookie record for the same stat: according to Elias Sports Bureau, "The 1970 Reds won 14 straight behind Wayne Simpson, as did the 1944 Cardinals behind Ted Wilks."
