because they keep having such leads. While watching the Brewers take advantage of extra strikes this past Sunday, it occurred to me that I couldn't remember the last time the Phillies lost without leading in an away game.
Remember that fun night at Wrigley when the Chicago heat and/or the Cubs bested Doc Halladay? That's the last time the Phils failed to take the lead at some point during the course of a road game. If my ad hoc review of recent history is correct, there have only been eleven such road games all season.
Which, I'll assume, has no independent significance whatsoever, but still seems rather neat.
