I hate that I keep getting pulled into these. Though they always amuse me, especially this idea that John Maybrery is the savior of the Offense. Also, not really worth it, had the previous 9 slides not already forced my brain to shut off, it may have been pretty funny.

I don’t think the home run is going to happen. Halladay’s just too awkward at the plate.

But then again, Mark Buehrle did it once and he’s a terrible hitter, so I guess it’s possible.

He did have that double last year, but it was a cue shot that sort of found its way into the corner. It wasn’t exactly a line drive to the gap. Maybe he can get an inside-the-park homerun if the punches another one down the line and the outfielder falls over or something.
