The 33 year old corner infielder has struggled with injuries but may be the best option in a thin third base market.

Jon Morosi reports that the Phillies are among several teams taking a look at free agent third/first baseman Kevin Youkilis.

Youkilis, who will be 34 on Opening Day, has not played more than 140 games since 2008, and has seen declining production -- .235/.346/.425 for the Sox (Red and White) in 2012.
