Various sources are reporting that Shane Victorino is close to signing a 3 year 38MM deal with the Red Sox. Call me crazy but thats a lot of pineapples.

In other news, Josh Hamilton is also apparently talking to the Rangers about returning on a 4 year deal, and theres a 'Mystery team" involved... OOOH!!!

If Victorino signs with Boston, that could make it easier for them to trade Jacoby Ellsbury.

Also, the Phillies and Ruben Amaro continue to sit this offseason out, leading me to believe hes either punting, or about to do something HUGE, STUPID, OR BOTH
