It's been a roller coaster of a year for May, but he's ending it on an upswing. Aside from one clunker on August 17, he's pitched well in all of his starts this month, and tonight's start might have been his best of the entire season. Here's an article that ran about him on MLB.com this afternoon, with some quotes that are very apropos of tonight's game. Also, Justin Friend struck out the side in the 9th, bringing his AA ERA to 0.24. And it was Harry Kalas Talking Bobble Head Night at the ballpark. An eventful evening in Berks County.

Clearwater vs. Daytona ppd.

I presume this had something to do with the tropical storm we've been hearing about. The two teams hope to play a doubleheader tomorrow.

Lakewood was off tonight.
