Jon Heyman from CBSSports.com reports that Cliff Lee did NOT clear waivers.

Therefore, the Phillies can either give him, contract and all, to the claiming team (extremely unlikely), work out a trade with the claiming team (pretty unlikely), or the Phillies can pull Lee back and keep him on the team (very likely). Cliff Lee's no-trade clause still applies, and he could therefore block any move to any team on that 21 team no-trade list.
Intrigue! Keep an eye out. If you see something, say something.
