Portland 9, Reading 1

J.P. Crawford - 0 for 4, BB, 2 K
Kelly Dugan - 0 for 5, K
Brock Stassi - 0 for 3, BB
Brian Pointer - 2 for 4, R, 2 K
After three solid starts to begin his Reading campaign, Mark Leiter is crashing back to Earth in his last two. The offense did him no favors, going 2 for 9 with RISP and leaving 11 on base. Crawford shockingly had a 0fer effort combined with more strikeouts than walks. These are the end of times.
Lakeland 4, Clearwater 3 (13 innings)

Mitch Walding - 1 for 5, 2B, BB, 2 K (throwing error)
Chase Harris - 1 for 4, R, 2 SB, HBP
Matt Imhof's return to from injury has been interesting so far. His command has been off, but no one seems to be able to hit him as he's only given up 3 hits in his last 12.1 IP. Something to keep an eye on for the slightly softer tossing Imhof. The offense struggled going 1 for 10 with RISP and leaving 10 on base. Canelo broke out of his slump with a multi-hit effort and stealing his 1st stolen base with Clearwater. Andrew Pullin hit his 9th HR in the game.

Jiandido Tromp - 1 for 2, R, 2B, K
Deivi Grullon - 1 for 2, R
Joel Fisher - 1 for 2, R, RBI, K
Emmanuel Marrero - 0 for 1, BB
Austin Davis with a successful first official start in 2015 after being a reliever to begin the season. Scott Kingery hit his first professional HR. This was Grullon's first game with back to back hits since the middle of June. Hopefully this will be something for him to build upon.

Yunior Reyes - 1 for 4, RBI, SB
Bryan Martelo - 0 for 4, CS
Arquimedes Gamboa - 0 for 3

The Ranger Suarez show is in full force down in Florida. The soft-tossing 19 year old is enjoying some very early success stateside for the first time. He has yet to give up a run in his first 17 innings, only allowing 8 hits, 2 walks and has struck out 11.
