So last night, when I said in the game thread that maybe Clay Buchholz would give me a reason to look forward to his starts? I didn’t mean for him to not actually make them. Though his injury does solve the problem of me not watching him, I don’t want him to be injured. I’d rather him be healthy and good! That doesn’t seem to be in the cards for ol’ Clay.
But enough about last night’s pile-of-steaming-garbage game. Let’s get to tonight’s not-yet-good-or-bad game!
Oh Vinny. Vinny Velasquez. Man of a million strikeouts and a million pitches. That’s his problem, he can strike a ton of guys out but he needs eight zillion pitches to do it. Let’s hope he’s a little more productive tonight.
