Brett Myers tries to continue his domination of the Dodgers, and the Phillies try to keep drawing closer to the top of the NL East, tonight in south Philly. Myers is 3-0 with an 0.59 ERA in his last four starts against LA, including a masterful performance last August 8 in California. In that same game, his opponent this evening, Brad Penny, left with a first-inning arm injury; just weeks after joining the Dodgers in the Paul LoDuca trade with Florida, Penny's season was all but over. He's returned to health, and to form, this year with a low walk rate and a .257 opponent batting average. Lifetime, the former Marlin is 5-4 in 14 career starts against the Phils.
David Bell returns to the lineup tonight after missing the entire Florida series this past weekend.
