The Phillies acquired LHP Jamie Moyer from the Seattle Mariners late Saturday night for two minor league pitchers yet to be named, but believed to be Andrew Barb and Andrew Baldwin.
The trade will be a homecoming of sorts for Moyer, 43, a native of Sellersville, PA and a graduate of St. Joseph's University.

The guy's got a 5.29 ERA away from HUUUUGE Safeco Field this season. Oh, and he's 43. Barb and Baldwin aren't blue chippers, though. I'm kind of on the fence here, but I think the potential benefit here (possibly backing into the playoffs) outweigh the risks (Moyer stinks and they don't win the Wild Card; Barb and/or Baldwin become good ML pitchers).
