Color me surprised. Mike Radano reports that in Charlie Manuel's already-posted lineup, Shane Victorino is batting second and playing right field, and that Carlos Ruiz's elbow has "checked out" and the rookie catcher is in there as well. Christina Kahrl points out that Jayson Werth has a .591 slugging percentage against lefties; evidently Manuel wants Victorino's speed and slightly superior defense in there more than Werth's potential to mash.
